Sustainability is a growing concern for governments, corporations and the civil society. Leading economies such as China or the European Union have announced ambitious carbon neutrality targets and Climate Change action plans. At the corporate level, more and more corporations – large companies as well as SMEs – have strengthened their corporate social responsibility guidelines by setting up clear improvement goals towards sustainability.
During this event, a range of speakers from various green sustainability related sectors will share with you how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce their environmental footprint. Additionally, these experts will explain how being sustainable goes beyond compliance and brings real economic and social benefits to companies.
This event is part of the Social Responsibility Initiative More than a Market.

Maintenance 4.0 at the heart of the Sustainable Plant
|Bruno LHOPITEAU (General Manager, Siveco China)|
|Synopsis: Green building certifications have expanded from design to operation, as buildings seldom perform as designed if not maintained well. Government investigations show that poor maintenance, improper technical decisions are the source of most environmental or safety accidents. Predictive Maintenance is often claimed to be the “low handing fruit” of Industry 4.0, yet it is seldom implemented beyond a showcase. Toyota famously put Preventive Maintenance at the center of what later became World Class Manufacturing or Lean, yet in most plants, maintenance comes last. The improvement potential is enormous!|
