Maintenance 4.0 at the heart of the Sustainable Plant
Bruno LHOPITEAU (General Manager, Siveco China)

https://www.sivecochina.com
Synopsis: Green building certifications have expanded from design to operation, as buildings seldom perform as designed if not maintained well. Government investigations show that poor maintenance, improper technical decisions are the source of most environmental or safety accidents. Predictive Maintenance is often claimed to be the “low handing fruit” of Industry 4.0, yet it is seldom implemented beyond a showcase. Toyota famously put Preventive Maintenance at the center of what later became World Class Manufacturing or Lean, yet in most plants, maintenance comes last. The improvement potential is enormous!
